The Fresh take of Hillsong’s latest offering

The world is devastated by so many invisible enemies. 2020 has been a year to grieve and sorrow, and yet, we are still surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, that strengthens us through the power and hope that’s in the name of Jesus. Hillsong has been carrying this message all around the world for ages now (more on this in another review), and now they’ve released one of their best offerings yet.

The three expressions of the global church music (Worship, United and Young & Free) come together for a new project. Revisiting some of their best anthems to date, Hillsong takes a new perspective over favorite songs and recasts them into a new declaration of faith, hope and love.

“Take Heart (Again)”, released today, is the perfect follow up to Awake. Recorded in studio during pandemic, the album features some of the best renown voices and house talents to sing, worship, pray, surrender and declare again some ancient truths through their own songs, in a boldly considerate and well crafted project, capable of bringing the most sorrowful of hearts to a place of wonder and (even) thanksgiving.

Wherever you are today in life, take time to take heart again with this new one.

Best moments to the double “Hosanna/For those who are to come”, “I Surrender” 90’s classic “Eagles Wings” and the title song “Take Heart”.
